SWEET- "Ace of Cakes"
It's a funny thing, how much I enjoy the Food Network. My culinary specialties include boiling water and placing things in the toaster oven. My taste buds skew to items you generally stop ordering when you are too old for the childrens' menu. And yet... I adore Iron chef, I like it when Marc Summers tells me about the history of taffy, and I've even watched Bobby Flay attempt to "out -BBQ" people. My new favorite piece of Food TV is Ace of Cakes. Duff and the staff of Charm city whip up some freaking incredible cakes: Taj Mahal ? done. A replica of your dog? easy. Panda sipping a Sapphire Martini??? (See Above)

SOUR- The US Supreme Court
Way to go. Today the justices (in a 5-4 decision) struck a blow for women's rights and health by upholding the ban on partial-birth abortion- even when a woman's life is in danger. Awesome. Also sour- Rachael Ray - No one needs to smile that much. (I can't love allll of the Food Network, after all)
